Mode of operation
Odourless transportation of waste water and sewage using the GULLIVER® system
Waste water and sewage are collected in a pressure vessel and transported without plugging by means of compressed air delivered by compressors. The whole pressure pipe is regularly emptied by a pressure flushing procedure.
From the pre-shaft the waste water falls into the collecting vessel. When the vessel is full the inflow valve closes and the compressors swamp out the contents into the pressure pipe by means of compressed air. With every pumping action oxygen is injected into the waste water which ensures that it remains aerobic. After the pressure in the pressure vessel is released the inflow valve reopens for the next filling.
