Odourless transportation of waste water and sewage using the GULLIVER® system
The canal smells bad? The concrete shafts are corroding?
In the course of various projects the pressure pipe lines have become longer and longer and the heights greater and greater, causing the organic substances to stay in the pressure pipe lines for longer times. This leads to decomposition in the form of anaerobic fermentation and these biochemical processes lead to the acidification of the waste water.
- strong unpleasant odours caused by hydrogen sulphide (H2S)
- corrosion of concrete surfaces due to biogenous sulphuric acid
Pneumatic waste water and sewage elevation plants prevent this acidification.
